The Challenge for Charity Foundation was founded to support the Adopt a Hero fundraising action. The foundation is linked to the organisation of the Peking Challenge. The organisation of the Challenge is done by  Global Challenges BV.

The Adopt a Hero action fundraising action will enable the teams of the Peking Challenge to raise money for charity. One of the rules is that each team raises at least 0,10 euro cent per kilometre for one of the charity projects supported by the Peking Challenge. Teams receive Adopt a Hero forms and stickers from us to be used by sponsors.

Are you able to raise more money, then it’s up to you to decide what to do with this. The amount that exceeds the 0,10 euro cent per kilometre can be donated to one of the charity projects supported by the Peking Challenge or to another charity of your choice.

The Challenge for Charity Foundation will process the forms for the teams and keep you informed about the total sponsoring of all teams. Only after the teams have arrived, will the donations be transferred to the chosen projects. We will soon present the projects that we will support, what they will have in common is the theme 'Children and Sports'.
